This started out as another version and ended up here! My original thought was to see what it would looks like if I did the plywood layers vertical just by themselves. After getting the stock glued up, I thought maybe horizontal would look better and decided to add on a contrasting color to the top and bottom. Several layers of 1/2 Baltic Birch (it’s what I had) and Walnut on top and bottom with a Deft Satin Finish. Glass sticks up about 1/8”.
Dimensions: 3.25” x 3.25” x 3.75”H
Side Note: Not sure if it works on my trivet I recently made or not.
