Only one photo….
This 700mm by 500mm CHEESEBOARD made from Camphor Laurel was picked up from Kelvin Grove Markets yesterday… they loved it… in the corner is a laser engraved motto… CARPE DIEM… latin for ’ seize the day ’...
Engraving was filled with 2-pac resin and sanded for a smooth finish…liberal coats of grapeseed oil brought out the colour and grain..
Thanks for looking…

its a beauty mate..i love the touch of laser on these, i know it might take awhile to get the laser to pay for itself, but this is a very nice touch to add to your work, i think there is always a price to pay to further enhance your work…thats my thinking anyway…grizz

Larry,

It certainly looks good finished, and even better now that its off to its new home already.

Also as as a side,
you may be interested in some Clocks & Barometers I saw in the latest catalogue from Whitworths Marine and Leisure.
They have a series of Brass Clocks and Barometers on page No 7.

Nice grain orientation. It looks like a whirlpool in front of a hillside landscape.

I’ve got some great 2yr Cheddar that would taste great on that board.
