Small mission picture stand

This was based on a plan for a two sided photo stand. i modified it for this print which was bigger than the 4×6 photo it was designed for. I thought i would just rout the groove for the glass deeper, but this threw off the position of the false through tenons on top, which conceals 2 brass screws holding the top on.
The wood is QSWO, dyed brown then sealed, GF Java gel stain was next, then about 4-5 coats shellac, rubbed with 000 steel wool. A coat of dark wax was used to finish up.
