I guess the only thing unique about these is to whoever it was who designed and created the first one. This is my third one. Gave the first 2 away and wanted to keep one in my collection since it seems to be a favorite. Built it a while back and finally had a free day to felt the drawers and call it finished. This one’s made of cherry and wider than the first 2. Why waste drawer space if you’ve got the material

I also like these “cracked” boxes. Very nicely done.

Very nice.
What is the finished size of this?
I’ve seen these made on the bandsaw, but some time ago, I seen some full size dressers that looks just like these. Those have been on my mind lately and have thought about investigating the possibilities of making them full size.

This is what happens when you don’t let the wood dry long enough! hee heee… This is a new one on me and I love it. What I like most is how you made the curve in the sides and top, to give it almost a cartoonish look. I see William already asked about the dimentions. I’m also curious. Really fun and interesting project… thanks for sharing it. :)

Check out some of these dressers to see some of what I’d like to build. There are various designs on this page, but everyone of them is interesting.

Thanks guys for the comments. I forgot to mention the size or place a reference object. It’s 6 1/2” wide by 13’ tall by 4 1/2” deep. Yea it’s a bandsaw box. Yes William I’d love to make one full size. If my designer colleague would persuade one of her wealthy clients i’d do one on commission for the kids room.

Check out that link I posted above. There are photos of some neat dressers there. I’d love to build some of those.

William, thanks for that link. Yes I’ve seen most of those but also a few new ones there too. If you browse through my projects list you’ll see some others. All bandsaw boxes but would build any of the same full size for the right price.
