Was looking thru some Woodsmith Mags the other day and came across this, thought it was simple and neat. So what the heck, lets build it. Mine is a little narrower and longer than the one in the Woodsmith Mag. Woods are Walnut and Maple. Originally was going to use Wenge, but got horrible tear out so I just grab some extra walnut at used it instead.

Very nice job.

It’s funny, when I received that issue, I said “I have to make that”....and that’s where it ended, in the thought process.

Thank you everyone! Sadly to get used as a trivet, it’ll have to wait until Christmas to get used. When you are cooking for one, you really don’t have a need for one. LOL
