My second and third attempts at bandsaw boxes. I used a piece of Box Elder and a piece of Paulownia Royal Empress. It’s good to have friends in your town’s Shade Tree Division!

very nice. I’m thinking of doing a bandsaw box. I have a glue up of a blank, but don’t have a design in mind yet. Although your designs are nice!!

I see that you are thuroughly hooked on BS boxes now, You know, you will never be able to look at a piece of wood the same again … and happily so.Nice job on these pieces, all done with the 1/4” blade?? What finish are you using on these two??

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments.Grumpy-The blade is a 3/16”. I finished it with a coat of mineral oil.

Thanks! My bandsaw is a Rockwell Model 10 that I picked up at an estate sale for $40.
