This is my signature style that I supply the local galleries with, here in Honolulu. I power carve 3 bowls into a Koa wood board 1-2 inches thick, usually 1 inch. I bevel the bottom at 60 degrees which gives a sleeker look. I do not like hard angles so I smooth out all walls between bowls which creates the free form, flowing look I desire. I sand to 600 and seal and finish with oil.
