I procured a few tools from a fellow wood worker several years ago to augment my shop including an old 1950’s vintage lathe. Now that I’ve learned to sharpen turning chisels, I have started using the lathe and tried my hand at turning my brother and his son-in-law a screwdriver using a couple of different hardware kits I purchased on-line. The handles are turned from a hickory tree I took down from my property and I used walnut inlay for their names. I finished them with a few coats of Danish oil.
