Built this with the help of my nephew-in-law and my Mother-in-law; My design (second build) solid white Oak and Walnut throughout, mortise and tenon – no mechanical fasteners – Old school! Center is two drawers, other four cubbies have BW baskets on shelves. Book-matched all. Finish is gloss polly, and sealer – Love building for Family & Friends!

Great build and design.
I would not put it over that register though. Or use a diverter.
I have a wonderful sewing cabinet built circa 1900 and my register’s warm dry air blew on it; the top cracked from the air during the winter. ... broke the top, broke my heart.

Great work, nice job. Was thinking the same about the heat vent. I like the hint of G&G you incorparated into the legs. Happy Thanksgiving!
