Here’s a bowl I turned this week from Curly Birch. It is 6 1/2″ in diameter and 2″ tall. It has a fairly robust rim which gives the impression of it being hefty. In fact, people tend to give it ‘a test of strength” when they pick it up. :)

This is a beautiful bowl. Each time I see posts like this I regret not having a lathe in my shop.
