These things are fun to build. Right now I am experimenting with designs. I made one with 2 speakers previously and thought I would try one with a bigger speaker single speaker. The 2 speaker model seems to be louder so I will switch back on the next one.

Do you have any video of them in operation? Just curious to see what the acoustic qualities are. I built a knock-off of the koostik and was pleased with it, but your designs are far prettier. I have two that have been under construction for about a year, just never seem to get them finished that have produced some interesting results. The are built, laminated something like a bandsaw box, but in these experiments I found that the length of the horn also seems to effect sound quality. A longer horn seems louder, but is very directional in my experience. Whereas, it seems to mellow out with a more open design but produce a fuller sound. That’s just my experience, but if it gives you something to play with, have at it. Love the work!

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Like I said I am having fun building these. I have had a some interesting things happen as the result of building these. I gave my wife both the models I made to take to work. She put them on her desk and everyone had a ball with them.
I have got orders to make some of the double speaker model for a few of her coworkers and for Christmas presents.
As a result I am setting up my shop to do a little production run. I am however improving it, changing the style just slightly and I am making a recessed area in the back for a engraved name plate. This way it can be used on a desk and have a dual purpose.
I am also going to make” phone specific models” because not everyone has an Iphone and it is important that the phone speaker lines up with the port slot in the back for best results. I will post the new one tomorrow.

anapolis7 if you look at my other post there is a link a youtube demonstration.
