This is a bunk bed I made from my 3 year old son. Has a dresser, bookshelf, and desk included on the sides of the lower bed. I also built a stand alone dresser for him. Built completely out of birch – 4/4, 6/4 and birch ply, with poplar for drawers. Has a painted navy, distressed finish. Couple coats of lacquer on top of the paint. All of the drawers are dovetailed with full extension slides.

Thanks for looking!

Nice job! With a little care your son’s grandchildren will get to use this bed. Be sure to put your name, date built and who it was built for on the bed.

Wonderful quality work on a well conceived project. Did you have a set of plans or create your own?

Very nice. These should be very convenient for your son for the next several years. Be careful…..several years passes by in just days. My 3 year old son just turned 16 yesterday. He had bunk beds too. Seems like just yesterday.
