Finished cutting and sanding this last night and applied a danish oil finish tonight. Cross is cut from /14” black walnut. It measures about 6” in length. I cut another one out of purpleheart but snapped one of the arms off while rubbing the oil off! Not sure if I can glue it or if I need to cut a new one. The oil may interfere with the adhesive.

Very nice.

For the purpleheart cross, Let the Danish oil dry and use CA. It should hold.

Very nice—I really like this one. It will make a lovely heirloom for anyone who values their Christian faith.
