I made this for my son and his fiance for their wedding. I figure they could use it for the heaps of cards they will be receiving ;)
It is made of walnut and purple heart. About 10×9.5×6.

Have to be more careful sanding cause I don’t have a planer.

Enjoy.

Beautiful box.

I love my planer. It has made my life so much better!

Beautiful box and when she sees that you will then have a daughter in law to do list :-)

Monte,
I agree a planer would make things easier. But first I have to have a place to put it. My TS is in an open bay implement shed. I have to move the lawn mower when I want to mangle some wood. Other tools are in a 10×10 shed which used to be a farmer’s smokehouse. Making things can be interesting and you find out how much patience you have.
All in all it has been a trip.
