This is a fun project I did for a customer that wanted to do a simple outdoor cabinet for their flat screen tv. The cabinet is made of MDF. I laminated 1/2” pieces together to give it the paneled look and to increase the strength. The hinges are Blum 170° Full Overlay euro hinges and I used 3 pair for extra support of the very heavy doors. There are locking bifold hinges on the doors to allow them to bifold or leave the doors together. The strap hinges that are so obvious on the front are from our pile of reclaimed barn door strap hinges. They weigh a ton! They’re also dome of the hardest hand forged steel I’ve ever cut through. They do add a lot to the look, though. I hung the cabinet to the masonry wall with anchors and lags. I also added some masonry screws. There are magnet catches to hold the doors shut.

Nice work, I need to make one for our patio as well. Should serve them well.
