If this chair didn’t have some serious sentimental value it should have been burned. The chair is 40 years old and sat out in the weather for about the last 12 years. The client wanted it restored for his wife as a Christmas present. I spent about 12 hours just on stripping, sanding and repairing broken pieces. Finally when it was all said and done it was time to sit back and relax..and test it.

Good work, but when I looked at photo one, all I could see was a pile of oak fishing lures, waiting to be turned.
But sometimes a rocker comes back to life.
