Thanks guys!! I went to our local lumberyard, and saw a 8’ stick of Pecan there, and had to sit on it for over a year to find one similar in color, so I could build this table. You can’t imagine how heavy it is!! They say nut bearing tree’s are some of the most dense in the forest! I really love the color of pecan, just gorgeous! I still have one more piece of lumber!!!

This is a beautiful table. I have never had the chance to work with pecan but it does look like a gorgeous wood.

that is a nice looking table. I recently finished a small bedside table for my oldest daughter similar in look except I went without the drawer.
