I am always looking for cool projects and one of the other members on here Anapolis7 had built one of these. Thanks for the idea and like he said in his post this is not his idea either but there are plans out there to build simple ones. Well I always take things to extremes and decided to try my hand at it and make one with my router milling machine. I made it out of cedar ( because I had a couple pieces laying around) . It was a fun project and I will probably make some more. It works pretty good, it’s not the best quality sound but it definitely amplifies it and it’s a pretty cool idea. Cudos to the original inventor.

LOL, I was just posting on your other speaker. Your design is FAR prettier, I must say. I’m jealous of the milling machine as well. Is that a full on CNC or does it function like a pin router? Is it your design or are there plans somewhere? I love these things. I have used mine on my desk at work for over a year. There’s nothing to break, it’s portable, and it is always a conversation starter. Love your projects!

Have your say...
