here are some more boxes that I’m making for the craft fair I’m going to.
about 4” square, but you can make these any size you want to
one is red oak with walnut veneer top
and the other is very minor birds eye maple with mahogany veneer top
both are sanded to 320 and finished with 2 coats of satin polyurethane
I’ve decided to go for $25 for a box, thanks for the input
easy to do with just a router, check out the wwmm video

Thanks for looking,
Mark

Nice little boxes. Don’t know if it is possible, but from my show last weekend, people seemed to prefer boxes with trays.

Very nice boxes I’m making some now as well. Price seems very fair to me as well.

I took a dozen boxes to a show two months ago and “people seemed to prefer boxes with trays”. Even thought my boxes were only 6” square by 4” tall, they commented on them being nice and not being able to organize things to put in them. Mine had inlay, bit taller and were priced higher, but consider a lift out tray or two.

In my area, Walnut always wins the most compliments.

Steve.

it sucked.
i knew it was a small show,
but way less people showed up than expected
and nobody was really spending any money
I still have all of my boxes
thanks for asking though
