I finished a second wine bottle balancer and this one balances similar to the first one with the bottle tipped down about 9-10 degrees. I bored out about 6 using a 45 degree angle and the results were the same.
So, I modified the fixture and will post a blog on it later tonight. This one has a smaller wine bottle that is wood burned into it. This smaller bottle will be the pattern for the inlay I plan to do when I get the new router bits .
It is made of quarter sawn white oak and finished with clear matte spray.
