Stocking stuffers (guitar Band Saw Boxes)

That time of the year again to knock out a few small projects that I use as stovking stuffers. I do not recall where I first saw the idea, so it is one of my fellow LJ’s please let me know.

Theses are made from a peice of Fir 2X4 that was reclaimed from a 140 year old house several years ago. I stumbled the board hiding under one of the workbenches where it appeared to have been for a few years…

The dimentions on the guitar boxes are 4 3/8×3 x 1 3/8. They came out of a true dimention fir 2X4

Those look really good. I should make one or two for my guitar playing brother,
who would probably keep his “picks” in it.

These are very cool. And the execution is great – don’t think I could get the sidewalls such a constant thickness when sawing…
