This is a fully function Clock Tower carved out of Cottonwood bark that I harvest myself. It took about a week of work getting it just right and I followed the contours of the bark. Each brick was initially carved and to add a 3rd dimension I used a minature V tool to make the bricks then I used my wood burning tool to trace over each brick. This gives it depth and realism. Once it was done I sealed the tower and inserted the clock.
Enjoy

Beautifully done piece. As much cottonwood as I have I should try this.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.

I like it a lot! Very edgy.

Have your say...
