Previous to making this rack I had all these clamps hanging on the wall on peg board. The weight of the clamps were heavy and the peg hooks would bend from the weight and would have to be bent back into the original position so the clamps would not fall off. This rack is on castors allowing me to rotate to reach the clamp I want easily. This rack is 6 foot 6 inches tall constructed from plywood and 2×4’s, I have enjoyed using this.

Nice project Chuck. Great way to store them with the ability to move them around to where you need them.

A great rack Chuck, everything organised and mobile, you won’t be able blame someone else when you can’t find something now. Did you save some plywood offcuts to have a go at turning. I think you shop is to tidy, it puts mine to shame.

Nice clamp rack Chuck. I think if I were doing it over I would go for portable storage over dedicated wall storage. Nice neat shop too.

Ooooh. Aaaah. I’ve been looking at clamp racks lately – don’t want to use my wall space but don’t want a huge mobile one either. Yours is fantastic. Consider it copied!
