Fidgecritter, Yes the finish is CA glue and then I polish them out with a micro mesh kit.
I did have some stuff called woodturners finish but it was good but I didn’t think it was that good.
Stick with CA for the Shiny finish and protection, check out Franklads work on here or see his work at his shop called Stoutwoodworks, he is one of the best, he does the bentwood style but man is his work awesome!
