Maple Burl Bowl

This was a shallow Maple burl that I wanted to save as much as possible, this is what I came up with. Finish is bar top epoxy.

Beautiful – the bar top epoxy makes it look like it has a layer of ice on it.

What a wonderful idea! We always feel bad when we see a burl end up in shavings from lathing it all away! You have really taken advantage of its beauty.
