Hi,
These were my first woodworking projects since High School.
I wanted to build a small coffee table but did not want to go for a four legged type. I wanted to design something unusual.

Oh Yea, No screws or nails, dowels only.
So what do you think? Did I meet my goals?
Thanks

Randy,
You executed a good design and construction process. These are very interesting pieces. I am sure that they are the center of attention when guests arrive.
Very nicely done.
Thanks for the post.

Nice job on the tables.

Yup, very creative indeed. Nice job. Could we by any chance see a picture of the underside of the table, and how you attached the top.

Hi,
Thanks for all the wonderfull comments.
I put a lot of thought into this design and it changed as I build it. The spread of the feet was to help stablize the tables.
Kerry: I don’t have any pictures of the underside of the tables. The curve that you see at the bottom of each leg is duplicated at the top of the leg. The legs are attached with blind dowels.

Very similar to Hank Holzer’s Akira Coffee Table from the Northwestern Fine Woodworking Institute. I could show you the bottom of his. His looks the same and it shows the bottom.
