The Lunatic is a hidden maze made with various exteriors. The maze is played by dropping a steel ball into and opening and moving the maze about. While moving the maze one must listen and feel to traverse the blind maze.

Beautiful mazes! What type of woods did you use?

OK, so there is a pathway on the interior? and the steel ball follows the twists and turns to an exit hole??
Beautiful woods here, I would like to see the interior construction photo’s … Pleeease.
What kind of wood is that blue one?? is it died??
Thanks for the post and welcome to LJ’s; anxious to see more.

Yes. Yes with dead ends and switchbacks. I am hesitant to show interior pics on a public forum. The core is solid Oak. The dyed piece is Box Elder.

Thank you for the interest and questions.

Are these the ones shown on Kickstarter? These came out great with the different woods you’ve chosen.

The Lunatic Maze sounds like a beautiful and elaborate 3D version of the 10 cent labyrinth Steve Ramsey made: http://youtu.be/uIoPL5BGDEw
