This is a blanket chest I made out of pieces of poplar and some Oak leftover from other stuff. Not wild about the colors of it, but it’s poplar. I made a jig for the box joints to use at the router table, works pretty well. It will be in the guest bedroom when I get that done!

I hit it with some sanding sealer and then minwax early american. 3 coats of poly on top.
