The design is reminisent of tooled leather saddles. Standard size acoustic, basswood top and sides, back is Italian poplar. The designs are burned in using pyrographic techniques. The neck is hand carved hard rock maple.

Thinks Dick and Dennis for the look see and comments. Actualy Dennis it sounds real good, I do need to do some more work on the neck, getting some fret buzz around the 12th to 14th fret.

Nice work Bob. I love the workmanship. That takes a steady hand and creative mind. I would have never thought to do something so beautiful and a guitar. I play a 6 and 12 string and so does my son. Did you build the guitar yourself? Do you play as well? This is one of the nicest guitars I have seen in a while. Very nice work. Great gift and tallent.

Thanks Diane and Jeff for your kind comments. Jeff, yes I built the guitar, I also build electrics and Lap Steel. No I don’t play, wish I could, however I am starting lessions on the Lap Steel. Curently working on another acoustic, Dreadnought size.
