Just a couple picture frames I made for my boss and a co-worker who were both off to new postings. They’re both spalted maple (donated by another co-worker) with walnut accents. The first frame has walnut edging. It sits proud of the spalted maple by about 1/8 inch, and has a 1/8 inch radius roundover on the inside edge, leaving a somewhat soft transition between the two types of wood. The other frame is simply inlaid with a 1/4 inch strip of walnut.

Beautiful frames, very cleanly done.
