There is a new Mexican restaurant that just opened up down the street. After befriending the owner I told him that I did some woodworking and he asked me if I could make hime something to hold his menus which were all just stacked up on a shelf. Sounded like a fun project. I looked on lumberjocks for some inspiration and decided that it just basically needed to be an extra deep magazine rack. So I went out into the garage, found a spare piece of 4/4 hickory and started freestyling. This is what I came up with. Got paid in something better than cash, tacos and enchiladas!
