Turned a “Carpenter Ant” today. Started out making a Snowman, but had a split on the edge that took it out of round, so I “modified” it! (Cherry and copper) 6” long.

Very clever save! Maybe you could put a very small hand plane or circular saw in one of it little copper legs to make it a real carpenter . . .

Nice rendition. Had some carpenter ants in Eureka, CA; yea they’re that big (or so it seemed when you stepped on them). I think you have a great salable item there.
