Haven’t posted in awhile, working and putting in time in the shop has kept me busy, but still keep up with the projects on LJs, can’t get enough of that. I just took an early retirement from the post office after 28 yrs, now I will have to start working for a living, :) But at least now I will be able to say I love my job!

Built this for my sister in-law, made of solid cherry. Crates are made of cedar, the wood is soft but they needed to be light so the kids can lift them. I know the cherry will darken over time but she wanted it to be darker now. The crates came out very nice and I may make some for storage bins or mount some to the wall as shelves. The last pic I made some name tags for the bins, made of 1/8 in basswood with double sided tape on the back, engraved and cut on the laser, I love playing with that thing.
