1 boring weekend + a bunch of scrap 2 X stock + a lot of planing/jointing = 2 Adirondack chairs for less than $60 worth of lumber and hardware. They are incredibly comfortable. So comfortable I told my wife on 12/21/12 we will drag them over next to our fire pit, put up our feet, pop some adult beverages, and wait for the end. If we are all still here after 12/21/12, I guess I will change their names to the “Mayans were off” chairs.

Hmmm,
I might need to find me an “end of the world” chair. Yours look great, but I think I need something upholstered. My fridge WILL be stocked, but I’ll start on the chair project on 12/22/12. I would hate to put that much effort into something only used once!!!
