As much as I like my Rockler cross cut sled it lacks in one ares, the sliding stop doe not have enough capacity, so I built and added this extension to give it 27 1/2” CAPACITY, WITH THE FLIP STOP REVERSED. The exploded drawing, I know it is crude but it shows what is needed, shows what it is made out of , 5 pieces and how it is assembled, the key is the 3 tenions that fit it to the fence and keep it rigid, these tenions slide into 3 openings in the end of the fence. A 1/4” treaded knob secures it to the fence, but the friction fit holds it in place. I cut the individule pieces and fit them and then glued it together. The one end picture shows the 5 pieces glude together.I could have made it longer, but this served my needs.
