Here is my latest work, which came out quite well. I used the full oak parquet, that was glued together under press. To achieve the correct thickness and smoothness, I made jig for my router and addition to my workbench. This and many other things, perhaps a separate blog at a later time. In the process, I discovered hand-planes because the stage was just like one of the best to get ready. Worktop edges are laminated oak and drawers are made of birch plywood. For finishing I used semi-gloss boat lacquer.
