Quick and dirty nightstand

My wife had been using an old jewely box as a night stand for years. I had plans to build a bed and nightstands for us about 8 yrs ago when we moved in our house. Once we moved in and all the stuff was in place there just wasn’t room for what I had plans for. After 8 yrs my wife wanted something different and asked if we could buy something at a store. After looking at it and seeing the cost and its construction, I said I can throw together a quick and dirty night stand that would be cheaper and sturdier than that… A few months later :-) while at my son’s scout meeting I scratched out a design on paper, came home afterwards and started putting this together.

I need some better pictures, many of these were taken with my ipad and are not the best quality.

Great design and perfectly done.

Very well done. Wives know that is the secret line to get something made, “let’s just go buy one.”
