This is a Crokinole board that I made out of cherry, Baltic birch and walnut lines to identify the quadrants.

Okay, I had no idea that crokinole was such a Canadian game. I have played it since I was a kid. I think that every cottage in Otario has a crokinole board.
The game is really fun and is played by flicking a checker like piece of wood ( crokinole piece) at your opponets crokinole piece to knock them out of bounds. When the board is free of your opponents pieces you can shoot for the centre (Hole in one).
Here is the wiki write up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crokinole This game is super fun to play for all ages and satisfying to make.

The game is a new one for me too, but i’m sure we have games that don’t make it past the border either. Nice job!
