I made this Buffet for my wife to put our China in.
it is solid Cherry & Cherry burl, mortise and tenon, sliding dovetails and and dovetail joinery all hand cut the only metal is the drawer slide which are lee valley push to open full extension slides
i used 3 coats BLO hand rubbed, 3 coats Shlellac & 4 coats general finishes water based poly/acrylic satin with an earlex 5500 then 2 coats of wax hand rubbed.

Oh Joe this came out great and the best thing about it is that over time the patina on all this wonderful cherry will bloom to such a rich color oh so very nice…BC

this piece is absolutely gorgeous , your book matched wood just makes this stand out, and the wood is so beautiful, i have a truck load of cherry drying right now, and cant wait to start using it…you did a great job on this, and i love every detail, the drawers being book matched really give this a look …thanks for sharing it with us, im excited to use my cherry as well…
