Half lap joins tall dresser

This is my last commitment: the client asked for a really small sized furniture to be placed in a reduced space to contain the couple’s underwear and complements. Four drawers for her and four drawers for him. Beyond the half lap joints (there are a lot in this furniture), I decided to put some interest spaces on top of the last drawer and under the bottom of the last one. I designed a way to customize the drawers division using an element with an “L” form. I built two pieces per drawer. You can use it, placing it if needed, or not, just putting it aside. If you find it valuable, use it but please mention and link to this project. The clients where very pleased with the result. I hope you enjoy it.

Very unique design. Love it!

Vet cool. More than that actually. It’s inspiring.

What a structure, and what a lot of wood! It resembles nothing so much as a modernist apartment building. Really like that space at the bottom and those floating dividers. Your half laps are great.
