I am unfamiliar with butternut. Is it a nut tree from back east? Overall a very nice design with the walnut accents.

what a really nice piece, lots of work, did you make your own tins, i like the design a lot the outside pins adds a nice touch.

chuckv I like working with butternut a little softer than walnut, i used general finish.
