My version of one Daughter seen online. Built for our 9 yr old Granddaughter. Made from 5/4 ash, oak ply back. Drew up a full size paper plan. I started this a week before christmas 2011. Fun project to make.

Love the design. Beautiful construction. Granddaughter looks pretty happy with you as well!

Nice bookcase! I see that you even turned the legs. Lots of work but worth it judging from the smile in the young lady. Granddaughters do that to you.

Very nicely done. I’m sure this was a very gratifying project as evidenced by the smile on the charming, little girl’s face!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. Very nice bookcase for a very beautiful grandaughter, glad to see that I am not the
only one that likes to make projects for them, but lookout for those big eyed great grandaughters, they really
make you into an old softy. Thank you for sharing.

Ah, it is Ash so you must have cut the scroll work with a BS. I managed to use my 16” scroll saw on Soft Maple, but when trying the same with White Ash my poor old scroll saw was not up for the job! Very nice!

Interesting design. Nice change from the standard bookcase.
