I made some more loading blocks for my Dad.
There isn’t much new to say about these. You can read more about their use here if any of you are interested and didn’t see them before.
On these, I added his alias to the tops. I made one out of sapelle and one out of glued up layers of sapelle and cottonwood.
Both are finished with two coats of Watco Danish Oil.

Does your dad do the Cowboy Mounted Shooting as well? That looks like a LOT of fun! PS: I like the way you personalized these.

Thank you all very much.
I posted these to my facebook page last night and, already, my Dad wants one or his best friend, and shooting buddy, Mean Matt McCord. So ya’ll will see at least one more of these in the near future.

glad to see your working, i hope others want some as well, a little extra pocket money never hurts…these days ya take it when it comes….maybe you should glue some wood up…like three different colors, jazz them up some..or you could do them like a checker board, glue up smaller blocks and then drill the holes into the different colors…that would be interesting…keep at it william..grizz

Thanks again to all who’ve given such kind words.
Grizz, I do plan on diferent designs eventually. I want to see how these sell before I start sending Dad out with projects that take a week to do.

Nice one William.
Free for Dad, but you need to put a price for everyone else, or you could be really busy.

Thanks Patron.
They are going to be showing these around the S.A.S.S. meets and hopefully I’ll get some orders for them. I’ve got it down now to where I can make one, without the customized lettering on top, in about two hours. The lettering takes more time and depends on what they want on it.
