Made this for my neighbor.Red oak with cedar lining.She loved my wife’s and asked me to make one for her.Don’t mind the messy shop,I clean it once in a while

Bill,

That is a beautiful chest. The raised panels and the wide feet give it a distinctive appeal. I like the bright brass hardware as well.

stunning blanket chest. Something about it that just stands out. I’m considering making hope chests for my daughters in the near future. i look at a lot of chests online and on LJ’s. Yours is the one I like the best.
