This is a checkered walnut and cherry display case i built for my dad’s diecast nascars. this was a fun project and once i again i got to work with my favorite contrasting woods. a particular challenge with this project was routing the grooves for each shelf…if i was mass producing theses a jig would come in very hand for those!

Welcome to LumberJocks!! Very cool use of the checkerboard design typically used on cutting boards. Nice case. Might do one something like this for my son.

Another nice job. Welcome to Lumber Jocks—it’s a great place to learn and very inspirational, besides making friends. Enjoy.
