These are a beautiful set of frames. Getting the miters tight is not as easy as it appears but you have done well with these.

Great looking frames. Did you use the Kehoe Spline jig on this? I have one, but have not had the opportunity to use it yet.

@ Karson – I use a SmartMiter sled from Jointech. Great tool… some people don’t like them, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t have it set up properly. It is a great tool when (like any other machine) it is set up correctly. My 45º miters are only sloppy when I make the error.
@ cajunpen – I’ll be real honest… I didn’t even know what a Kehoe jig was until you mentioned it and I went to their website. Looks like a nice system. However, I’m guessing while it excels at drawers and boxes, it wouldn’t do well at all on frames. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s my hunch looking it over on the website. In answer to your question, I have a home-made spline jig. Coupled with my Jointech system, it is superb.
