This is a retirement present I built for my office manager of many years. It is lacewood and figured maple. It is about 14 X 9 with sides that are only 3/8 thick. I built an other just like it at the same time out of maple and rosewood that we kept.

Absolutely beautiful !!!
Love the smooth lines, the simplicity and yet the elegance…... The wood choice is perfect and the legs fit the design just perfect as well…... A favorite for me!!!

Very nice…! I know your manager will treasure it. The woods are a great match and the feet add a lot of character.

Beautiful work of art! The wood combination is really striking.

Nice work and beautiful wood.
Was there some latent suggestion here that maybe the manager’s ashes should be put in the box?
