Project Information

Certainly inspired by Zia. I was lucky enough to live in New Mexico in the early 70's. I would like to go back for a visit , but haven't been able to talk my wife into it yet.

It's just what I need to bring some cheer on the first cold day of the season. We're catching the tail end of Sandy. I hope you folks that got the storm are ok.

I cut dadoes half the thickness, ripped it into strips and rotated 90 degrees.

Bald cypress. 28" rays, 14" disk. 2 coats of kilz primer and 2 coats of exterior latex.

What a way to brighten your back yard and remind yourself of your times as a young man. Here's hoping another expatriate drives by, notices it, and smiles.
You do great re-creations of ordinary and symbolic things.
