Another sculpted piece. I really like the look of the grain on this old sinker cypress…it has character that far surpasses the look of the new growth cypress…This one also has a wall hanging bracket but it also stands up on its own. It is approximately 6×8. Lacquer finished and buffed. Another one that is going to my next show for a test run.

Just a something to show the beauty of the wood…I’ve made lots of things that people say “what is it?” It’s a cool piece of wood, that’s all. Some just don’t get it. Love it! What are you working with, a grinder?

That is a beauty.Almost looks prehistoric in a way and being made from old wood makes it almost so .
I will be interested how it is received at the show.
I can see this as a two sided piece as a desk ornament.

its a pretty nice sculpted thingy…if i had some money i would give ya a ringy dingy…but im sick in bed and i cant find my head, so you will just have to sell the thingy to someone who has some , well that ends the rhyme , i just dont have the time….....great lookin thingy…
