I was asked recently by a friend of my wife’s if I could cut an image of a wolf howling – and even better if the image contained the moon as well.
I think this fits the bill nicely. :-)
Work measures around 9 inches square and is cut into Baltic Birch Ply.
As is my norm, finish consists of a soak in lemon oil and a backing of thick felt.
This was a fun weekend project to do – hope she likes it!

Very intricate scrolling. I do like the background felt. It really makes the scrolling pop.

Nice. You nailed it.
At first I thought you had done the Three Wolf Moon design. ‘Cause heck; 2,340 reviews must mean this thing is popular.

I can hear the howling . . . and it’s getting closer and closer!
